WRAPMATE WEBSITE WARRANTY OF SERVICE

At Wrapmate, we know that people are always the biggest part of what we do. It's hard to follow legal guidelines if those guidelines are difficult to understand, so we have created The Human-Friendly Warranty: an easy to read warranty document that helps you know exactly what you're getting when you work with Wrapmate. We've got your back!

The Wrapmate Human-Friendly Limited Warranty. Our warranty is a “Limited” warranty, which means that we will only cover the cost of repairs that we can determine are the direct result of: (1) our improper or faulty installation of your wrap; or (2) defects in the vinyl and colors in your wrap. Here are the details on each:

  1. Installation. This limited warranty covers peeling, natural lifting or tenting that result from our improper or faulty installation of your wrap. This limited installation warranty lasts for 1 year after the installation date.
    • What is NOT covered under this Limited Installation Warranty?
      • Any damage that is not the result of an improper or faulty installation. Examples of items not covered include issues arising from power washing, pulling on lifted areas or manual peeling, attempting self-repair, or installation on a moving window or a window with a wiper.
      • If you have a defect in your wrap that you believe should be covered by our limited installation warranty, don't touch it or attempt to repair it yourself, just send us some pictures! See the Reporting Section below.
      • DIY graphics do not carry an installation warranty.
  2. Materials. This warranty covers excessive fading, cracking, and adhesive failure of all films, and in the case of printed film wraps only, this also covers blistering. For perforated films, this warranty lasts for 6 months from the installation date. For all other films, this warranty lasts for 3 years from the installation date.
    • What is NOT covered under this Limited Materials Warranty?
      • Any damage that is not the result of a manufacturing error in the wrap and its included materials. Examples of items not covered include issues arising from power washing/ car washes, accessory additions, pulling on lifted areas or manual peeling, damage to vehicles, failure to properly maintain the wraps, or using non-approved cleaning supplies. Additionally, issues arising from installation of a perforated film on a moving window, or a window with a wiper, are not covered.
    • In certain cases, you may be eligible for warranty coverage from a third party manufacturer. We determine this on a case by case basis. If we determine you are eligible, we will pass through the eligible third party warranty to you.
  1. Reporting. We won't know an issue you are experiencing is eligible for warranty protection unless you report it to us within the applicable warranty period.
    • Take pictures of the affected area and write up any other information that may be helpful and send it to us at vwwraps@wrapmate.com. Our experts will review the situation and work with you to come to a resolution.
    • Be sure to report the issue you are experiencing before the end of the applicable warranty periods above!
    • Warranty claims must be made through Wrapmate, Do not go to your selling local VW Dealer or certified local Wrapmate Pro.
